Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use this site, request a quote, accept a proposal, or buy from Platte River Hat Co., Columbine Valley, CO 80123. Placing an order means you agree to them.

Quotes and proposals are estimates based on the artwork, quantity, decoration method, and hat styles described at the time. Pricing holds for 30 days unless we say otherwise. Hat availability changes, and if a hat sells out we will offer the closest substitute for your approval before producing anything.

We redesign your logo if needed before you pay. You will get a digital proof showing artwork, colors, and placement. Nothing goes into production until you approve that proof in writing, including by email or by accepting a proposal on this site. Once you approve, the approved proof governs the order. Colors on a screen vary from thread, PVC, and printed output, and slight variation is normal.

You confirm you own or have permission to use any logo, name, or artwork you send us, including team, school, league, and brand marks. You are responsible for that permission, and you agree to cover any claim that results from artwork you supplied.

You keep the rights to your own logo. Original design work we create for you may be used on your order and in our portfolio and marketing. Tell us if you would rather we not show it, and we will not.

Minimums vary by hat and by patch style, and some items have no minimum at all. Any minimum that applies to your order is shown on the product, proposal, or store page. Custom runs can vary slightly in final count. If we come up short we will refund the difference.

Custom orders are paid in full before production unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see your full card number. Some invoices include an optional electronic payment fee, which is always shown before you pay. Sales tax is applied where required.

We work fast and often turn proofs around in a business day, but production and shipping times are estimates, not guarantees. If you have a hard deadline, tell us up front and we will confirm whether we can hit it in writing. Risk of loss passes when the carrier takes the package. Carrier delays are outside our control.

Custom and decorated goods are made to order and cannot be returned or exchanged once produced to an approved proof. If the order is defective, misprinted against the approved proof, or damaged in transit, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we will repair, remake, or refund the affected items.

Pre-designed stock items from our shop that are unworn and in original condition may be returned within 30 days for a refund of the item price.

Pop-up and fundraiser stores run for a set window. Orders are produced after the store closes, so all sales in those stores are final. If a store does not reach its stated minimum, we will contact the organizer to extend it, adjust it, or refund participants. Promotional discount offers on this site apply to retail stores only and are excluded from fundraiser stores.

One-time discount offers are limited to one use per person, and we may decline duplicate signups that reuse a name, email, or phone number already redeemed. Offers cannot be combined unless we state otherwise, are not redeemable for cash, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

You are responsible for keeping your password and second-factor access secure and for activity under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access. We may suspend accounts used for fraud or abuse.

Do not use this site to submit unlawful, infringing, or hateful content, to scrape or attack the site, or to place fraudulent orders. We may refuse or cancel any order, including artwork we are not comfortable producing, and refund it.

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits or event costs.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Arapahoe County, Colorado.
